The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for our website:
What Information does Mahogany Group & Mahogany Brides gather and how?
We strive to provide our members with a superior, personalised and customised Internet experience. To do so, Mahogany Group gathers information through optional, voluntary registration about each of our members' geographic location, personal interests, and preferences, all the while ensuring the privacy protection of that information. We also collect navigational information, by using a feature of your browser called "cookies".
Through our site's registration form, and our online survey we ask you to voluntarily give us contact information such as your name and e-mail address, as well as demographic information (e.g. age, gender, income) and might also ask for financial information like account or credit card numbers, when necessary. Additional personalisation features might in certain areas of the site enable you to further customise content areas or topics of specific interest to you.
Our servers automatically collect information about which sites users visit and which pages are viewed within our sites, by using a feature of your browser called "cookie" which assigns a random number, or "User ID," to your browser. The cookie automatically identifies your computer, when you visit the site. We also use cookies placed by third party servers to target the advertising delivered to you. This practice is common in Internet advertising. We only identify the computer that is used to access the site. Unless you specifically tell us, we will never know who you are, even though we assign your computer a cookie. Internet browsers offer you the option to generally refuse to accept cookies. You should understand that certain areas of this site might not function properly if you set your browser to refuse cookies.
We also collect "Log Files" to analyze the traffic on our advertisements, develop member patterns and derive basic statistics. The "Log Files" are collected solely for internal use and will not be passed on to Third Parties" unless it is collected for a promotion or event.
Mahogany Group uses the information voluntarily given to us as a means to tailor parts of our service to your needs. Some of these personalised services are made available directly by us, while others are offered by our content partners. We also use the information in order to analyse and evaluate member preferences, comments, and suggestions of Mahogany Group offerings in order to improve the present and future versions of our website.
Mahogany Group will never willfully disclose individually identifiable information about our members to any third party without first receiving that member's permission unless we believe in good faith that the law requires it, to protect the rights or property of Mahogany Group. Notwithstanding the above, however, Mahogany Group may disclose individually identifiable information about it's members to any third party in connection with the transfer of substantially all of the business operations of Mahogany Group (whether of asset sale, stock sale, merger or otherwise). Therefore we cannot guarantee, that your personal information or communications will remain private.
To help our advertisers better understand our member's preferences and interests, Mahogany Group creates summary or aggregate - but not individual - reports on a regular basis. (An example of the type of information provided in a summary report might be, "32,000 people clicked on Advertisement 'X' today and of those people, 85% were males who have indicated that they intend to buy a new car during the next 24 months"). Mahogany Group advertisers use this information to determine the effectiveness of their efforts. We never provide our advertisers with individually identifiable information about our members unless the member has given explicit permission for us to do so.
Use of individual Information. Individually identifiable information provided to Mahogany Group is used throughout the service to provide an experience that is tailored to the needs of our members.
In certain cases this information will also be shared with Mahogany Group content partners who provide content or enhanced services, but only if you have given permission. When information is given to a content partner to operate a service (i.e., chats or free e-mail service) that partner may have its own privacy policy that you should read and understand before submitting any of your personally identifiable information to be shared with that partner. Mahogany Group retains no responsibility or liability for privacy policies of those entities. Companies that purchase advertising on Mahogany Group may track your navigation to and from their sites and collect aggregate information about you when an ad is displayed or when you click on their ads. Mahogany Group does not control this collection of information, nor do we monitor the use of this information once our advertisers obtain it. You should contact these advertisers directly if you have questions about their use of this information. Additionally, Mahogany Group does not control the information collection and distribution policies on sites outside of Mahogany Group.

These merchants have separate and distinct privacy and data collection practices. Mahogany Group retains no responsibility or liability for the privacy policies of these online stores. To obtain more information about an individual vendor's policy on privacy, please visit their homepage and review their privacy statement before making a purchase decision.

If you have explicitly authorised Mahogany Group to provide personally identifiable information to a third party, any request not to receive any communication from such third party should be directed to the third party site.
